Take a walk on the wild side tonight and climb up Lion’s Head in Cape Town. Lion’s Head is the perfect place to go on a full moon walk for panoramic views at dusk. Walking up lion’s head at full moon, you will experience the best of both worlds with the sun setting over the mountains and the moon rising over the sea.
This month the guided full moon walk leaves from the Lion’s Head trail parking lot at 5:30 on Wednesday 26 of September. The cost to join the full moon group is only R10 per person. Joining a group walk offers a safe and fun way of seeing Cape Town by moonlight from the top of Lion’s Head.
Cape Town has plenty of other walks and trails in its surrounding mountains and forests for those who would rather take a day hike. There are Table Mountain hikes, shaded Tokai forest trails, waterfall walks or scenic beach walks galore to choose from in and around Cape Town.
