- Bazaruto Archipelago near Vilanculos - four islands, Bazaruto Island, Benguerra Island, Magaruque Island and Santa Carolina Island. Diving in beautiful coral gardens with shoals of fish as well as dolphins, dugongs, giant lobsters and several species of marine turtle. Two Mile Reef, off Benguerra Island, has an unspoilt short barrier reef protecting the narrow channel between Bazaruto and Benguerra, offering several completely unspoilt dive sites.
- Ponta Malongane - premier dive destination is only 10km from the North Eastern Mozambique South Africa border. The pristine Ponta Malongane has 18 reefs with dives ranging from a few meters to around forty meters deep. To Mozambique’s border it is a 6 hour drive from Johannesburg and a 4 hour drive from Durban, and then you drive another 15km on sandy roads.
- At Ponto do Ouro - scuba divers can set off beyond the reefs and dive with sharks, dolphins and giant whale sharks. Chances are high that you will see hammerheads, kingfish, barracuda and potato bass. Ponto do Ouro town lies just south of Ponta Malongane, so you can drive from South Africa or Maputo.
- Querimbas Archipelago parallel to Pemba coast area - Dive unspoilt coral reefs in the shallow waters off the coastline of Pemba. Querimbas Archipelago is an excellent spot to explore gorgeous reefs in uncrowded waters. Lucky divers may also see dolphins and whales.
- Dive at Tofo Beach - one of the best places in the world to see manta rays and whale sharks. Tofu diving offers over 17 different stunning reef dive sites with striking corals in excellent dive conditions.

Bazaruto Archipelago sounds fabulous as I love turtles and any dive with sharks is spectacular so I would certainly be interested in diving at Ponto do Ouro.
