Landia has a degree in Journalism specializing in new media and has spent the past few years traveling and teaching South East Asia. This woman always has itchy feet and has taken her boots to places far and wide. She has embraced the Latin phrase "carpe diem" by bungee jumping, skydiving, jungle tracking and scuba diving, to name a few. Landia is a web enthusiast having worked as an Internet Journalist and done some web development in her spare time.
What inspires Landia?
She has many sources of inspiration. Traveling inspires her because it opens one up to so many new challenges and ways of living. "Sometimes when I feel blown away by yet another wonderful place on earth I feel like the possibilities in life are endless". Landia has been greatly inspired by the strong women and creative men that she has met throughout her life. She says that people have shared many amazing stories with her and always offered endless encouragement.
Landia also draws heavily on both natural and man made aesthetic beauty for inspiration. She delights in fine art, architecture and the natural wonders of the world- basically any pretty colours, shapes and spaces get me going.
In her spare time
She relaxes by writing, painting, drawing, reading and photography. She loves swimming, walking, snorkeling, scuba diving, horse riding and yoga. Also, she has a blue belt in the Chinese martial art of Kung Fu, so think twice before picking a fight with this kung fu fighting lady.

"A giraffe: Just watch one run, they are such unique and funky animals. Imagine what it is like to always know what is coming before everyone else. Also, it would be great to have few others capable of reaching your food. If only I had such long legs and the same relaxed way of life!"
