Sarah is a real Africa travel and volunteer expert. Working for the volunteering company African Impact and the safari company African Encounter, Sarah has years of experience with both wildlife and the local community.

Sarah has now taken stepped back from being on the tours themselves, to organizing them for others to enjoy the magic that Africa has to offer. Sarah lives in Zimbabwe. 

What inspires Sarah?

Traveling through Africa leads me to have my perspectives changed in a real and humbling way every time I head off on another trip. So many people look down on this continent as confused and impoverished, and I am always astounded by the wealth of character, vision, sense of community and humility that abounds in the lives of so many people that I come into contact with. I am also inspired by the life-changing experiences that traveling in Africa facilitates for visitors.

In her spare time..

Sarah likes to travel (in Africa mostly!), work on photography skills whilst travelling, and gain a deeper understanding of rural African communities and how we can best facilitate relationships between their villagers and international
travelers.
