Idyllic beaches, tall palm trees, lots of sunshine and warm aqua waters - all the requirements of a perfect beach holiday! Torrential rain, a cyclone or 2 and uncomfortable humidity are definitely off the list! So when is the best time to visit Mozambique?

Mozambique Wet Season
Like the rest of Africa there is a definite Mozambique wet season. The 'heavy rains' arrive at the end of November and usually last until late February or early March. The wet season is also when the odd cyclone or 2 can arrive! It can be very hot and unbelievably humid and most travelers tend to keep away - for good reason.

Mozambique Weather
Mozambique has a hot, tropical climate and temperatures average in the high 20's peaking into the 30's in summer. Great for enjoying beach days and water sports but not so great when you want to get a comfortable nights sleep! Spring and Autumn is when Mozambique weather is the most settled and pleasant.

So, when IS the best time to visit Mozambique?
Autumn (April - May) and Spring (October - November).

Warm sunny days, cooler nights, a nice gentle breeze, cocktails and bikinis and a good friend or 2 - perfect!
