After seeing so much wildlife the excitement for a game drive in Chobe National Park had somewhat been tempered, but as our overlanding truck parked on the chobe river we were eager to see more wild animals.
As if our wishes were granted, we saw everything we wanted to see and more. Coming to Africa and going on safari, you hope to see the Big 5. Although this might seem silly, it is something you hope to see.
With all animals but the leopard being spotted, all our hope was now set on the Chobe National Park Game Drive to gives us the opportunity to see a leopard. And what happened? We saw a leopard resting on a tree outside Chobe National Park!
Besides a leopard we also drove by a buffalo laying in the bush 2 meters, spotted hippos in the water, and numerous impala’s with young. All in all we had another great game drive.
