Ever wanted to become a game ranger? Pathfinders Africa offers an expedition where you can learn the skills required to be a game ranger in its Kruger Park Game Ranger Course.

This expedition takes place in the Kruger National Park, South Africa. The Kruger Park is the largest national park in South Africa with the widest variety of wildlife.

The expedition is 1 to 4 months long and all accomodation and meals are taken care of in the expedition cost. The expedition includes the following activities:

  • Game drives – animal identification and tracking
  • Game management (re-introducing, counting, culling)
  • Guided walks and trails
  • Learn about the local Swazi and Shangaan culture

If you want to experience all of this, check out this Pathfinders Africa Kruger Park Game Ranger Course expedition. If you want to learn more about volunteering with wildlife, you can go to African Impact, as they offer various wildlife projects in Africa.

Tomorrow I will review the Masai Mara Safari expedition. A safari which introduces you to the iconic Masai warriors.

We are interested in your feedback and comments. What do you consider to be a true adventure in Africa? Let us know and we’ll pass it onto the guys at Pathfinders.

Hi Darlington

I know that geography and environmental studies are important for your FAGSA, however you can contact Pathfinders directly http://www.pathfindersafrica.com/ and ask them if it is possible for you to attend their course.

I hope this helps

Kind regards

Katey Africa
