Best of adventure travel in Africa: 10 of 15 The tenth experience we will highlight in our series of adventure travel expedition is the Pathfinders Africa Gap Year Sports Coaching expedition. A great volunteering experience, as you touch the hearts of the local community, coaching and interacting with the local African children through the universal language of soccer. This expedition takes place in Mozambique, at the seaside town of Vilanculos, set in the rural tropics where palm-tree lined white beaches await you. The Africa sports coaching expedition is 7 days long and all accomodation and meals are taken care of in the expedition cost. The expedition includes the following activities:
  • Teaching the local soccer team
  • Interacting with the local community
  • Playing with the local children
  • Enjoying the nights looking over the Indian Ocean
  • Exploring the African culture in Mozambique
Playing with kids
If you want to experience all of this, check out this Pathfinders Africa Gap Year Sports Coaching expedition. If you want to check out more volunteering options, you can go to African Impact, as they offer various projects in Africa. Tomorrow I will review the Kruger Park Game Ranger Course expedition. I can't wait to review this expedition as I am planning to go to the Kruger Park in the coming months. What an experience it would be to become a Kruger Park game ranger! We are interested in your feedback and comments. What do you consider to be a true adventure in Africa? Let us know and we’ll pass it onto the guys at Pathfinders.
