When you hear the word ‘Magic’ what do you see? Fluffy rabbits, card tricks or Harry Potter? Well, me too – until yesterday. I was pretty sceptical about what exactly ‘magic’ entailed until Larry Soffer (by a strange twist of fate?) visited our office.
Mindblowing is not the only word to describe what we were treated to – amazing, fantastic, gob-smacked, shocked, stunned and entertained is getting closer to the truth.
Cape Town born and bred, Larry Soffer is reputably one of the foremost magical talents in the world. His skills are mystifying, possibly controversial, definitely memorable and absolutely, 110% AMAZING! An extensive and varied repertoire in ‘adult magic entertainment’ passes all tests that Close Up, Stage, Cabaret and Television can throw at him. Celebrities, heads of state and well known, world famous magicians (like Siegfried and Roy) have seen, been amazed and subsequently endorsed this talented local guy.
Metal bending, mind reading and levitation are things that literally have to be seen to be believed – but they exist, they happen, we saw it and we have the ‘bent office fork’ to prove it.
