- Peak season is from July to October.
- Mid-season in Botswana lasts from May to June.
- Wet season is November to April, which means the roads are muddy and driving a 4×4 is advisable.
- From May to September nights can get chilly, so go prepared.
It is a good idea to get particular travel advice for the area or location
