To touch an animal you consider highly dangerous is definetly a fear you have to overcome. So what is more thrilling that to pet and walk with cheetahs in Namibia!

We arrived at the cheetah farm on a hot day, and we all were tired of the journey. But with a bar and the prospect of touching a real cheetah, the energy started pumping again as the time of the wildlife encounter grew closer.

Arriving at the gate of the farm we already saw these beaufitul animals. A cheetah has to be one of the most graceful animals, and walks with such calm. And then there you are walking with cheetahs in Namibia.

The tame cheetahs were raised by the family and cannot be released again in the wild. But the actual farm with the wild cheetahs are held there for preservation reasons. As the farmers would otherwise kill them off, as they are a danger to the cattle.

So after the walk with cheetahs, we went off to the actual game ground, where the wild cheetahs were held. What a great wildlife experience to see them walk around in the park. The feeding was just as thrilling.

So after an eventful day with the cheetahs we enjoyed a beer at the campfire and talked about the next day. The famous Etosha National Park, what would that have installed for us?
