The Foreign Commonwealth Office travel ban on Zimbabwe was lifted on the 27th August 2008 following decreased violence in Zimbabwe and a promising new government structure.

However, the FCO still advise against all travel to high density, low income areas at any time and all but essential travel to some rural areas.
